Dear Mother:

We arrived here last night and are pulling out this afternoon for Vancouver.  We are having a perfectly grand holiday.  Stayed two nights in Spokane and never saw a show or put a foot inside any store.  Had two meals out at the Waikiki Ranch (where [sic] Gordon Bawldwin [sic]) and he showed us a good time in Spokane.  Haven’t been in bed before three yet but still going strong.

I haven’t time to write more but I will drop a line from Vancouver.  May fly to Victoria if doesn’t cost too much.

With love

Tony
